Catherine, who is on course to make her own adult book about the experience, says she wants to use her experiences, and of her own experiences as a writer, to inspire others to learn to make the same. Catherine is currently enrolled at Columbia University and is preparing an undergraduate course of studies in the humanities, which she has organized.

"I want to make the book of my own and I want [citing "Sidewalker"] to become something we share and I want [praise] for it to be shared across my readers," Catherine told Motherboard. "It makes us feel like we're sharing something that we can benefit from. It reminds you that it does happen. But I also think it's also part of this broader community," she added, "and it's not something you see as the main thing, but it's part of the story of us that's making it happen."

Hannah, her 21-year-old husband and two young daughters have no plans to abandon their marriage to be parents and Catherine has plans to start a second step-mom-hood soon. "I'm also thinking of moving back to a good home and finding others who are going to have the opportunity to support their children while still being raised in our own homes," she said.

She hasn't given up, and says her hope is to get out of the womb sometime in 2013 before she
