The exhibition focuses on the life and work of James Wilson, a professional illustrator born in Paris and born in London, Australia in 1928. His paintings include "The Man Who Knew Too Much" by Fats Wall and "The Man Who Knew Too Much" by Peter Hines.

He came to Australia with his mother, Katherine, and their three children during World War II in 1943, and was transferred to the Children's Hospital of Brisbane.

An exhibition of paintings by Wilson is on view from April 20 until October 2, at the Southbank Museum of Art. There are other works that are on view from January 5-29, 2018 in its dedicated section.
